Will Zalatoris is the 36-hole leader at the 2022 PGA Championship after shooting a five-under 65. Tiger Woods made the cut at Southern Hills, currently sitting at 3-over par.
Zalatoris, 25, sits at 9-under par atop the leaderboard. He recorded zero bogeys and five birdies, four of them coming on the Back 9. Zalatoris converted 18 putts from 10 feet or shorter in his second round. He’s searching for his first win on the PGA Tour.
Woods, 46, shot a 1-under 69 in his second round. After a double bogey on No. 11, putting him outside the cut line, Woods recorded two birdies on his final seven holes to make the weekend. This marks the second consecutive major Woods is playing all four rounds.
In the morning wave, Justin Thomas shot a 3-under 67 for the second consecutive day. He sits three off the lead heading into Saturday.
Rory McIlroy, who was the 18-hole leader, posted a 1-over 71 on Friday. He’s five off the lead.
