The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded the draft rights to forward Sasha Vezenkov and are also sending $1.75 million to the Sacramento Kings for the 49th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, sources confirmed to The Athletic.
The 6-foot-9 forward was selected by Brooklyn with 57th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and his rights were dealt to Cleveland as part of the multi-team James Harden trade in January 2021. Vezenkov, 26, was an All-Euroleague first-team selection and Greek League champion with Olympiacos this year. The Kings still have another second-round pick (37th overall) in addition to the fourth pick in the first round.
