Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb to miss Thanksgiving game vs. Raiders with concussion: Reports

Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will miss Dallas’ Thanksgiving game against the Las Vegas Raiders after failing to clear concussion protocol, according to multiple reports. Lamb suffered a concussion during Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs.

The 22-year-old practiced on Wednesday, and coach Mike McCarthy told reporters on Wednesday morning that Lamb could possibly play against the Raiders.

“He hasn’t missed a step,” McCarthy said Wednesday morning. “If he’s able to keep progressing, we see him being available” for Thursday’s 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff.

Lamb was selected in the first round of the 2020 draft out of Oklahoma. This season, he’s emerged as a real threat for quarterback Dak Prescott, with 50 catches for 740 yards and six touchdowns.

The 7-3 Cowboys have lost two of their last three games, and the team will rely on Michael Gallup, Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown and Malik Turner with Lamb out.
