Texas three-star receiver Kyle Parker announced his commitment to LSU on Thursday, giving the Tigers their sixth commitment in the 2023 class.
Parker earned his offer from LSU after performing well at a Tigers camp earlier this month. He then returned the next week for a visit that all but sealed the deal for LSU. Programs like Texas, Louisville, Penn State, Arkansas and Mississippi State were also interested in Parker.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound receiver with good quickness is the lone receiver commit so far for LSU after Louisiana four-star Omarion Miller decommitted this spring. Of LSU’s six current commitments, five are from out of state including two from Texas, but many of the top Louisiana recruits are still undecided.
