Brownlow-Dindy, ranked No. 10 overall in the Class of 2022 in the 247Sports Composite, is a huge pickup for an Oklahoma program that is starting to add some elite defensive talent to a roster known for its offensive exploits.
With Brownlow-Dindy in the fold, OU now has two top-100 defensive players in the Class of 2022 after signing two in 2021. The Sooners signed none in 2019 and 2020.
Oklahoma’s class, which now has 15 commitments, jumped from 12th to seventh in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
Brownlow-Dindy made an official visit to Oklahoma on Sept. 18 for the Nebraska game and was in College Station on Oct. 2 for the Texas A&M-Mississippi State game.
He is expected to enroll at Oklahoma in January.
