Premier League fixtures: Man City face West Ham, Fulham host Liverpool
Champions Manchester City face a trip to West Ham United on the opening weekend of the 2022-23 Premier League season.
The first fixture will take place on August 5 with Crystal Palace hosting London rivals Arsenal at Selhurst Park.
Nottingham Forest will begin their first Premier League campaign since 1998-99 by journeying to Newcastle United, while fellow promoted sides Fulham and Bournemouth will take on Liverpool and Aston Villa respectively.
The 2022-23 Premier League season promises to be the most unique campaign in the competition’s 31-year history.
The league will take an unprecedented mid-season break for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with the last match on the weekend of November 12.
The season will then resume on Boxing Day, just eight days after the World Cup final in Lusail.
