Raiders place RT Brandon Parker on injured reserve, will miss 2022 season

The Las Vegas Raiders placed right tackle Brandon Parker on the injured reserve and he will miss the entire 2022 season, the team announced on Sunday. Parker, the likely starting right tackle, was injured three weeks ago but the team was holding out placing him on the IR in hopes that the injury wouldn’t be season-ending.

Parker was competing for the starting job against Alex Leatherwood all offseason. The offensive lineman hadn’t practiced since the Raiders defeated the Jaguars in the Hall of Fame game.

Parker, 26, is a former third-round pick and played out his final year of a four-year rookie contract with Las Vegas last season. He tested the open market as an unrestricted free agent but eventually opted to re-sign with the Raiders.

The Raiders also placed Tae Crowder and Tyler Lancaster on the injured reserve list, also ending their seasons.
