The 2021-22 season didn’t go as planned for the Golden Knights, who missed the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. That prompted a coaching change, followed by a free agency period that was used only to subtract due to the salary cap. But despite a rough few months for Vegas fans, the club is still set to ice an incredibly talented lineup this fall. There’s plenty of unknown. How will the pieces fit? There’s no doubt that a group headlined by Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, Jonathan Marchessault, Alex Pietrangelo, Shea Theodore, Reilly Smith and William Karlsson, and backstopped by Robin Lehner, has a high ceiling if they click on the ice.
After stunning success right out of the gate, the Golden Knights are suddenly in an interesting spot, with an eye on winning now. For all of those reasons, we want to gauge how the fan base is feeling with a fan survey.
Please answer the questions below, giving your opinions on everything from the front office, to coaches, players and season predictions. The results soon will be revealed in a story. Thank you to every subscriber for following along this season and over the summer. It’s been a pleasure writing for you. I’m already looking forward to Sept. 14, when rookie camp opens, and we will have a few exciting things coming between now and then.
